Helton Coorsed his way to a NL record, breaking the old mark of 285, by Chuck Klein, who Baker Bowled his way to his record from 1930-32, and was 2nd in MLB history to Babe Ruth's 293, in 1919-21. By doubling Helton's road numbers, he would have only ranked tied for 6th over the past 3 years.

It was the 2nd consecutive time Delgado led the AL.
