Related to the thread about your favorite baseball names, how about non-baseball people with such good baseball names the should have been ballplayers?
For example: Homer Simpson Jeff Greenfield (TV news reporter) Sally Field (had a cup of coffee in the SALLY League) The Artful Dodger Neil Diamond

Not sure he fits too well in baseball, but the best sporting name I have heard was Steele Lewis. A welsh rugby player of recent vintage.
