Which Managers should be elected to the HOF?
Sparky Anderson and Tommy Lasorda recently waltzed into the HOF. I never really were enthusiastic about either as managers, though I thought Lasorda was marginally better. (If Sparky were all that good, he would have won more pennants with the Tigers; there was no excuse for 1987.)
People have actually spoken of Gene Mauch as a HOF manager.
Since the HOF will be selecting more managers, which of these would you advocate. (Don't say "The HOF shouldn't elect managers; it may be so, but they're going to take them on, anyway, so which one wouldn't stink up the place.)
