What was Tim Raines thinking?
In the Marlins game, with the winning run on 3rd base with 1 out in the 9th inning and Luis Castillo (so far 0-for-4) on deck, Raines got the count 2-2 but he swung and lifted a sac fly to win the game with a hitless Castillo on-deck.
Is it just me, but with the game tied, and the winning run on 3rd with 1 out, wouldn't you just take all the way if you're Raines so Castillo can not only get a chance to extend the streak, but also win the game for them? Last edited by TreAnt985 : 06-22-2002 at 10:17 PM. |
