6) The Angels passed the Rangers into sole possession of 1st place in the AL West.

7) Yankees 3B Alex Rodriguez became the youngest player in baseball history to hit 400 HR. Rodriguez hit 2 HR and had 4 hits (1 BB). Rodriguez became the 3rd player to hit #399 & 400 in the same game, joining Hank Aaron and Jeff Bagwell. Rodriguez passed Al Kaline, Andres Galarraga and Dale Murphy into 40th place on the all time HR list.

After 53 RCAA/.995 OPS and 35 RCAA/.888 OPS seasons, Rodriguez is hitting .634 SLG, .434 OBA, 1.068 OPS, 34 RCAA in his first 59 games. He has a .959 career OPS, compared to his league average of .773, and 469 RCAA in 1489 games.
