THE BUZZ Pregame pomp at Legends Field included introductions of the Yankees lineup, a giant flag unfurled in center field, a ceremonial first pitch by Wade Boggs and a fly-over by military jets.

"It didn't seem like a spring-training game (with) all the atmosphere," starting pitcher Tanyon Sturtze said. "It seemed like the season was getting ready to go -- and I wasn't ready for the season to go."
