If anyone actually did send me the file, or if anyone has a copy of it, I would greatly appreciate it if you could (re)send a copy.

1) Edgar Martinez set the Mariners record for career total bases.
The new top 10-- Code:
Griffey is still the team record holder in TB above the league average-- Code:
Martinez is also the record holder in AB (6285), AVG (.317), 2B (471), EBH (761), G (1786), GIDP (159), HBP (81), H (1992), OBA (.425), OPS (.953), OUTS (4560), OWP (.731), PA (7592), RCAA (627), RCAP (542), R (1108), RC (1458), RC/G (8.63), SF (69), 1B (1231), TA (1.019) and BB (1147). Compared to the league averages, he's record holder in AVG (+.049), CS (+24, actually 24 under the average), 2B (+171), H (+425), OBA (+.086), RC (+615), RC/G (+3.63), 1B (+172), TA (+.310) and BB (+551). 2) The Orioles placed 1B David Segui on the 15 day DL and called up OF Larry Bigbie. Segui has a strained hamstring and this is his 2nd trip to the DL this year. Bigbie had a .601 OPS/-7 RCAA in 64 career games since 2001. The Orioles say this is an audition in which he'll get some playing time, instead of just a callup. 3) The Rangers placed P Ismael Valdes on the 15 day DL, retroactive to Sunday. Valdes has tendinitis in his shoulder. After 4.45 ERA/6 RSAA and 4.18 ERA/14 RSAA seasons, he's off to a 5.74 ERA/-2 RSAA start in his first 5 starts. Valdes has a 3.80 career ERA, compared to his league average of 4.36, and 64 RSAA in 260 games. 4) Indians P Brian Anderson missed his scheduled yesterday, due to a strained upper right hamstring. MGR Eric Wedge says he's only expected to miss 1 start. 5) The Expos placed P Tony Armas on the 15 day DL, retroactive to April 21, and called up P Claudio Vargas. Armas has a strained rotator cuff. Armas, whose father led the AL in HR in 1984 and tied for the lead in 1981, used to be known as Tony Armas Jr. But, in spring training, he announced he wanted to drop the Jr. He actually never should have had the "Jr." as part of his name, since he doesn't have the same middle name as the father. After 4.03 ERA/14 RSAA and 4.44 ERA/-5 RSAA seasons, Armas has a 2.61 ERA/5 RSAA in his first 5 starts. He has a 4.11 career ERA, compared to his league average of 4.32, and 19 RSAA in 86 games. Vargas, who turns 24 next month, was ranked as the team's #7 prospect by Baseball America and was given a C grade by John Sickels. He came into the year with a 3.99 ERA in 7 minor league seasons, including a 6.72 ERA in AAA and a 4.64 ERA in AA in 2002. 6) When Giants 1B J.T. Snow injured his forearm when he was hit by a pitch on Wednesday, the team's trainers thought he'd have to go on the DL. He refused to leave that game, wasn't in the lineup yesterday, but thinks he might be able to return today. Meanwhile, MGR Felipe Alou was so scared he'd get bad news that, "I didn't talk to him. I didn't say one word." If that's all managers have to do to avoid their players being hurt, Yankee MGR Joe Torre should have been fired on the spot for checking out Derek Jeter's injury, along with all of the other firings we should be seeing. 7) Marlins GM Larry Beinfest refuses to comment on rumors that the front office has been instructed to prepare a list of candidates to replace MGR Jeff Torborg. 8) The Brewers traded minor league P Michael Nicolas to the Redsox for either a player to be named later or cash. Nicolas was just claimed off waivers from the Padres. 9) The A's released minor leaguer Mitch Meluskey. After a .888 OPS/12 RCAA season as a 26 year old rookie with the 2000 Astros, Meluskey's had back problems that kept out for the entire 2001 season and he was limited to 8 games in the majors in 2002. 10) The Tigers sent utilityman Hiram Bocachica to the minors, after he cleared waivers. He had already been removed from the 25 and 40 man rosters when he was designated for assignment earlier in the week. 11) Pirates 2B Pokey Reese was out of yesterday's lineup, due to a sore back, and is day to day. After -24 RCAA/.627 OPS and -11 RCAA/.681 OPS seasons, Reese is off to a .277 SLG, .232 OBA, .509 OPS, -7 RCAA start in his first 20 games. He has a .669 career OPS, compared to his league average of .781, and -104 RCAA in 743 games. 12) A's RF Jermaine Dye had to leave yesterday's game, due to discomfort in his right knee. He thinks he's going to miss 1-2 games, at the most. After 13 RCAA/.813 OPS and 0 RCAA/.792 OPS seasons, Dye's off to a .284 SLG, .262 OBA, .546 OPS, -7 RCAA start in his first 21 games. He has a .811 career OPS, compared to his league average of .773, and 20 RCAA in 858 games. 13) The Astros signed P Bob Scanlan to a minor league contract. Scanlan, who hasn't pitched in the majors since 2001, has a 4.63 career ERA, compared to his league average of 4.20, and -12 RSAA in 290 games. 14) The Cubs signed 3B Donny Leon to a minor league contract. 15) Tim Crabtree, who was pitching in AA for the Brewers, retired. Crabtree had a 4.20 career ERA, compared to his league average of 4.79, and 32 RSAA in 342 games with the 1995-97 BlueJays and 1998-2001 Rangers.

1) The Mariners called up P Rafael Soriano, to take Kazuhiro Sasaki's spot on the roster.
Soriano, 23, is ranked as the Mariners #1 prospect by Baseball America and was given an A- grade by John Sickels, who ranked him as the 6th best pitching prospect in baseball. He had a 4.56 ERA/-2 RSAA in 10 games (8 starts) in the majors in 2002. 2) The Giants sent P Luis Estrella to the minors. They are expected to call up another pitcher to make the start tomorrow, with prospect Jerome Williams almost certainly being the one to get the call. 3) Due to their rainout on Wednesday, the Royals scrapped their plans to have prospect Kyle Snyder be called to make his major league debut. 4) The Royals became the first team to start 10-0 at home since the 1987 Yankees. 5) The Astros placed P Brian Moehler on the 15 day DL, retroactive to April 17, and called up P Brandon Puffer. Moehler has discomfort in his elbow. After pitching in just 1 game in 2001 and 13 in 2002, he's off to a 7.90 ERA/-5 RSAA start in his first 3 starts in 2003. Moehler has a 4.57 career ERA, compared to his league average of 4.71, and 13 RSAA in 144 games. Puffer had a 4.43 ERA/-1 RSAA in 55 games as a 26 year old rookie in 2002. Meanwhile, Scott Linebrink will make his major league starting debut tomorrow. Linebrink has a 5.84 ERA/-8 RSAA in his first 45 career games, including a 6.75 ERA/-1 RSAA in 3 games in 2003. 6) The Devil Rays called up INF Felix Escalona. Escalona hit .293 SLG, .262 OBA, .555 OPS, -12 RCAA in 59 games as a 23 year old rookie in 2002. 7) Johnny Oates has had a setback in his battle against brain cancer. Doctors have found at least 2 teams in his brain, which they say can't be surgically removed. 8) Redsox P Pedro Martinez says he was bothered by a minor back problem during his last start, on Tuesday, in which he walked 6 batters. Martinez is the Redsox record holder for best BB/9 IP rate, compared to the league average (min: 500 IP)-- Code:
9) Rickey Henderson signed with the Newark Bears, in the independent Atlantic League. Henderson's 765 career RCAA rank 2nd in the majors over the past quarter century-- Code:
10) The Cardinals returned Albert Pujols to the lineup. He played 1B yesterday, with orders not to try any overhand throws. 11) The Twins released minor league P Jose Rodriguez. 12) Brewers 3B Wes Helms was out of yesterday's lineup, after being hit in the hand by a pitch on Wednesday, and is day to day. After -7 RCAA/.728 OPS and -9 RCAA/.687 OPS seasons with the Braves, Helms is off to a .304 SLG, .243 OBA, .548 OPS, -6 RCAA start in his first 19 games. He has a .689 career OPS, compared to his league average of .771, and -23 RCAA in 217 games.

Chase Utley got his first major league hit and his teammates loaded up the bases, something that he had absolutely nothing to do with.

Yes, I am sure that is how Mr. Utley looks at it as well.
