In 1977, it started with Reggie Jackson and ended with Bucky Dent. What was it?

That's right... Bucky Dent's home run was 78.
Was it the first and last free agents, or acquisitions of the Yanks in 77? --- My 20 questions question... Was it direstly related to an on-field, regular season accomplishment? |

You're 0 for 2, CP. Try and reverse that trend.

Nope. This is more of a visual thing. You would need perfect eye-sight to figure it out.

Bingo! When Reggie joined NY, that Spring, he wore #20 before changing his mind and switching to #44. When Dent joined the team, he took #20 for that year. Did you get all three clues?

I had no idea about Reggie wearing #20 during spring training. Wonder if he was wearing it out of admiration of Frank Robinson ??? Would Posada be wearing #44 today if Reggie had kept #20 ????
My guess was on the "perfect eye-sight" clue.....
