I'm going to be something of a homer and go with the Eagles.

Donovan McNabb is obviously the key player and he needs to step his game up a notch and the team needs to improve their running game and third-down efficiency.

However, I think Staley should be better with an extra year after surgery and Dorsey Levens could help. Antonio Freeman should be a BIG pickup, and I think Todd Pinkston could emerge as a go-to receiver.

The defense suffered a huge blow when they could not re-sign Jeremiah Trotter. However, the secondary is incredible, led by Brian Dawkins, who is approximately 10 times the player Jason Sehorn is but gets 1/100th the recognition.

I guess the smart pick would be the Rams...I could see them coming out, pissed off about losing the Super Bowl and just obliterating the league...I could also see them dropping back to 10-6.

Super bowl. Wow, hadn't thought of it yet. I'll guess Tampa Bay. I think Gruden will do something special there. And Tampa needs something to make up for having to watch the D-Rays.

Check the history books and you'll see that every time the Patriots go to the Super Bowl, the Broncos go to the next two. Taht's my story and I'm stickin with it.

Yeah, but the Broncos lost more than they won.

They are 1 and 1 following the Pats. I'm not a math whiz but that sounds like they won as many as they lost in that sisuation.

I'll go with St. Louis. I know they were 0-4 in preseason, but when they're on, I don't think anyone can stop them.

No idea who'll they'll be facing. Predicting anything in the AFC is a losing proposition.

Last year, "everyone" underestimated the Patriots.

This year, "everyone" is underestimating (and disrespecting) the Patriots.

In the NFC, I likes the Pack. Never underestimate Brett Farh-ver-rah.

Pack-Pats. January 2003.

The Rams are going to be lucky to get a playoff spot this year. Warner's got a bad thumb leftover from last year and there isn't a vet. back up to step in WHEN he goes down.
San Fransisco will go to the Super Bowl and win.

Rams go 3-13, then make it to the Super Bowl the next year, Ravens go 8-8, make it to the Super Bowl, Patriots go 5-11, then make it to the Super Bowl.

Based on the NFL's wonderful 'parity' system, I'd predict the Bills win it all this year.

That is why I don't know who to pick. Who would thought the last three champs would of won. Not me.

I'm going with Tampa. Chucky runs amok in the playoffs.

I had a feeling you were going to say something like that.

I don't know what they were thinking, but it's like they thought the game was over at halftime. Hopefully, they put that behind them, because they're one of the best.
