Default Hello from a Pro-Player Apologist

I know I've been posting for a while but just wanted to finally post a hello in this forum and say hope my legal, pro player, SF Giants slant does not put anyone off. I grew up loving Willie Mays, even did basket catches in the infield until I dropped a few, and have always loved the Giants and NL ball. Even though I moved to Oakland A's territory in the 1970s, rooted for the NY Mets and Dodgers in the World Series. Although cannot watch the Giants until late in each game (kids going to sleep), will still sneak in to watch Bonds hit. What a treat.

Have never been an A's fan. I have rooted for the Bosox since the emergence of Fred Lynn and Jim Rice in 1975. Grew to love Dewey Evans and still have his poster hanging up in our guest room (wife always wants to ditch it.) Wish this was the year the Curse went away but Urbina is too shaky, Burkett seems to have run out of gas, how long can the Sox rely on Wakefield?, and most importantly the Angels and A's are playing great ball. If they get there, Pedro and Lowe could be just as dominant as Schilling/Johnson.

Go Giants and Bosox.
