Very good hitter with 254 RCAA. His WARP3 is only 63 due to lack of defensive skills and time spent as a DH. Had a number of notable events in his career. Scored baseball's 1,000,000 run, hit a GSHR in first WS AB, first player to hit for the cycle in both leagues, first black GM (Astros).

There are a lot of hitters from that era who are underrated, and of course he played in the Astrodome when it was the anti-Coors. I say yes.
