Please vote here for Relief Pitchers:
Note: Please only vote for 10 total among all the polls, in accordance with the rules BBWAA operates under. |

I voted for Goose but I'll admit bias. Then again, that's not such a bad thing in his case.

It was me. I've posted my ballot elsewhere...Bert Blyleven, Tommy John, Jim Kaat, Jack Morris, Luis Tiant, Ron Guidry, Dale Murphy, Andre Dawson, Ozzie Smith, Gary Carter
I think Gossage and Sutter should both get in eventually, but I ran out of slots on this year's ballot. |

After voting in all the polls and seeing the early results its funny to see almost everybody got a vote already...
To me there are only 4 HOF'ers on the ballots: Gossage, Sutter, O. Smith and Gary Carter Smith is the best defensive SS period. Carter was the best catcher in the NL for over 10 years and may be one of the top 10 catchers ever Sutter was the first of the dominant short relievers mastering the split and Gossage was the scariest stopper for over 10 years and pitched effectively for 20! The rest were very good players and some were great, but to me a HOFer should be dominant |

FYI - If I've done my math right, so far, there have been 16 ballots on this one.

Going into the announcement of the results tomorrow, we at NetShrine have elected...NOBODY!
I guess we're just a bunch of hard-asses. Last edited by Golden Bear : 01-07-2002 at 09:12 PM. |

By my calculations, with the new guys in, Carter and Ozzie get in by our vote.

No, it's percent of ballots, not percent of total votes.
They both just miss at 72%. |
