As recently seen in Baseball America - - "The Baseball Derby is the most interesting experiment........seen in the fantasy prospect world."
What is the Baseball Derby? It's the new, innovative, FREE game that involves projecting the success of baseball's top prospects using the betting system of horse racing. See the Baseball Derby "Arms Race" which is sponsored by NetShrine: http://www.baseballderby.com/pitchers.html There are also other races now forming. Not only is it fun to follow your team's top prospects - - but, you can win some great prizes, including autographed prospect memorabilia and the big daddy, an autographed A-Rod ball. Don't miss out, the deadline to enter is July 17. Check it out! And, if you have any questions, post them here - Danny Noonan, who runs the Derby, will stop by every so often and I'm sure he'll answer them for you. Good luck in the contest - and thanks to the Baseball Derby for making this possible. Oh, yeah, did I mention IT'S FREE! There's no better deal that that!

It makes for remarkable and sincere discourse. |

I intermittently play a game with a link to that site, and the first thing I thought when I saw it that time was "What the *insert your favorite expletive*?"
And I still think it. I still haven't a damn clue about it. |

LGO - here are the rules:
http://www.baseballderby.com/rules.html All, BTW, just thought of this - - you don't need to be a NDF member to play in the contest; so, please, if you have any friends who you think would be interested in this, again, please, pass this info along to them. They may enjoy it!

Thanks for the plug, Steve. To anyone who may be confused about The Baseball Derby, don't hesitate to ask. It's really simple once you understand the basics of pari-mutuel wagering.
Also, I've added some excellent new prizes, including many photots and memorabilia from the Single A SAL All Star Game. Make you you check it out. THe deadline to enter is July 17th...and it's absolutley FREE!!! DN

I'm in. In fact, I thought I was in a month ago, but just now when I checked I couldn't find me anywhere, so I signed up again.
