I suppose some of these guys can be in your target:

Earl Webb, 1925 - 1933 ( 6 complete seasons) playing 1B :How manny of you know that this guy still holds the record for 2B in one season (67, 1931). He was a 306 carrer avg and 859 OPS, +125 OPS. 1931 was his peak (333 avg, 932 OPS, 148 OPS+, 103 RBI).

Johnny Frederick, 1929 - 1934, (6 seasons) : was practically the same hitter his first two years (1929 and 1930) hitting 328 and 324 avg, 917 and 908 OPS, 126 and 117 OPS+, 408 hits (including 96 doubles, 17 triples and 41 Hrs with 247 runs scored). In five years carrer had 521 RC and was a fine CF.

Dale Alexander, 1929 - 1933 ( four complete season), playing 1B: as Frederick, his first two seasons (1929 and 1930) were outstanding driving 272 RBI, scoring 196 runs, hitting 77 doubles, 23 triples and 45 hrs, with 346 and 326 avg, 977 and 878 OPS, 148 and 118 OPS+. 479 RC in 662 games and 129 OPS+ in his carrer. The man had an awfull injury very early and probably that was a great help for the coming of Hank Greeberg as Tigers 1B in the earlies 30's.

Boo Ferris, 1945 - 1950 (six seasons): although his first season was great (21-10, 2.96 ERA, 115 ERA+) you could say that was due lack of competition in war years. But in 1946 he was better considering the best quality of hitter he saw and his final record (25-6, 3.25 ERA, 113 ERA+) . His WL% carrer record, .684 with 65-30, is impresive.

Steve Busby, 1972 - 1980 (8 years): won 56 games for KCR between 1973 and 1975 with two all stars games. Never was the same again and between 1976 and 1980 only won 11 games more.

La Marr Hoyt, 1979 - 1986, (8 years): won 72 games between 1982 and 1985 , 98-68 final carrer record with 590 W%, two times leader in wins (1982 - 1983), 1983 CY, 1985 All Star Game MVP, all this with limited skills.
