President Bush to throw out Game 3 first pitch
ESPN.com news services
NEW YORK -- President George W. Bush will throw out the first pitch Tuesday prior to Game 3 of the World Series at Yankee Stadium.
The president, the former part-owner of the Texas Rangers and longtime baseball fan, also threw out the first pitch of this year's College World Series in Omaha, Neb.
Prior to the first pitch, there will be a flyover by a pair of F-14 Tomcats from Fighter Squadron 32 in Oceana, Va.
The Arizona Diamondbacks lead the best-of-seven series 2-0 against the defending champion New York Yankees.

I'm familiar with the security precautions, but if referring to the George Washington Bridge, I've never heard of this unless they're demonstrating the security soundness down there. I think Bush the father, Bubba usually took JFK or LAG airports, went on Manhattan's east side using the FDR Drive.
Since the GWB is near Ft. Lee, NJ and connects to Washington Hts., it may be impractical. Even if they'd used Newark Airport, they'd likely use the Lincoln Tunnel which is in midtown.
Just more useless mumbo jumbo which I'm sure you wanted to hear.

What if he sneaks into Teterboro? ;) Would not the GWB make sense?

The only apolitical reply I can think to post is that this was the only way Dubya was getting to the World Series. He certainly wasn't taking the Rangers anywhere close....

Would it be AF1 or a chopper. DC is not that far.

Probably Marine One - that's what he came on when he visited Ground Zero about a month ago.

GWB takes in the ball game & VP Cheney goes into hiding(a secret location) again. I wonder if Cheney has a tunnel & cave system like Uncle Osama.

It was Marine One and it was awesome to see it come in and land in the ball field across from The Stadium.
Pataki's chopper took out the giant Amstel Light bottle across the street, I thought I was about to see a bad accident

Of course not, I have no idea.
I wasn;t debating just noting.
Although it would seem strange for him to fly by plane, the rotorcrafts would still have to be flown in

Agreed. Still shocked he would have flown that far in a chopper. Talk about a target!

Think the Rangers could use him in their starting rotation?
