Very early, but it sure looks like the Reds new park is going to be a hitters park. Did anyone get a chance to go to any of the games? I'll be there on Apr 12th for a BP Pizza Feed if anyone's headed to the park.

The ball carried nicely today.

I'll be at the next 4 games, two each against the Bucs and Cubs. I'm curious to see in person how the ball gets off the bat.

Having been at the GAB for the last couple of games, there's no doubt that it should be a homer haven. There were only a couple today, but that's because there was a strong wind blowing in from right and right-center.

Griffey's homer last night looked like a popup that just happened to carry over the wall. I can only imagine what it will be like when the humidity rises and the ball starts carrying.

Overall, GAB is a huge improvement over Cinergy/Riverfront. No bad seats, really, and some nice views both of downtown and northern Kentucky. It really does have a cozy feel. It's not Camden Yards, but it's a great park.

I hope you're right Craig about no bad seats, because looking at the seating chart, my seats for the 6/5 game v. the Yankees look like the worst in the place.
