Hello folks, I'm a Yankees, baseball, and fantasy baseball junkie!

So I guess I came to the right place. ;)

Anyway, I have been browsing the site for several weeks now, and love it. I'm already subscribed to Baseball Prospectus and receive the incredible Under The Knife reports. I also subscribe to Lee's online newsletter, and think his stuff is great - have learned a tremendous amount and appreciate it. I'm saving my pennies for the Sabermetric Baseball Encyclopedia. :)

I look forward to chatting with all of you!

Hi Sweaver,

Well, after lurking for a few weeks, I've come to very much respect the opinions of those on this forum. I've been going back and forth about an overall #1 pick I have in an upcoming Yahoo fantasy draft, and who I should take (RJ, Vlad, Arod). So I figured I'd ask those on this board who'd THEY'D take, if they had a #1 pick.

(I see that the post has been moved to the appropriate area, lol sorry!) :blush:

We already have a quota of lawyers and physicists.:D

I would say something about a quota of Yankee fans, but if I do, I'd have to hide under my desk while waiting out the inevitable beat down....:p

There may actualy be more Tribe fans than even Yanks fans here, lurking about in the walls and woodwork. Even double-wides in Akron have net access.

Blame NetZero for that. :p
