View Full Version : Never Posted At The NDF Yet?

I'm sending this question out to anyone who has registered at the NDF and who has never posted - - that's about 207 members.

If you are someone who posts, and has an opinion on this question, please feel free to chime in as well............

We have 576 registered members at the NDF. Of that total, 36% have never made a post.

Folks registering for a forum and never posting is not rare. Many moons ago, a forum creator vet told me that the number usually runs about 20% - thereabouts.

So, to me, 36% seems high.

If anyone has some feedback as to why they registered and never posted - to date - and they are willing to share, it would really be appreciated.

whats with all the icons?
I tried to participate in a discussion just yesterday and had glitches logging in so just canned the effort

I don't post because I have never chatted in a chat room. It's just something I don't do. Best, Peter G.

jtmckee.... don't give up! I believe you can get rid of the avatars by people's posts by going to http://www.netshrine.com/vbulletin2/member.php?s=&action=editoptions and setting the Show user's avatar in their posts? question to No. I could see how if you had a slower connection that the icons might be annoying.

I usually prefer just to read other people's posts to see what others think about a topic. Often people have already expressed what I would have written, so to me, it would just add to the noise instead of adding to the conversation.

I don't know if this sounds strange, but I just haven't yet. I only registered a few days ago and have only time time to peruse a couple of the threads and wasn't compelled to jump in.

I guess this is a good way to get my first post out of the way!

Hey y'all.

Just been sick all week so I am feeling a little, shall we say, light-headed?

I don't post here that much because my time online is sort of limited these days with college, but I'll stick around here if I can.
