I wonder what it was like for her. I hope she's not messed up too badly. :( It occurred to me that she may have been a "willing" participant in her own abduction. I hope you understand what I mean - not that her abductors shouldn't be criminally liable, but that she was running away from home in a fashion. That would be sad too, of course. Either way, she's a traumatized, troubled girl. :(

I don't know, maybe it's just me - at a time when her family and law enforcement are all over the radio with their joy, I can't help but see the sadness in the story. This is far from over for her.

Things in the world rarely shock me anymore. When I heard that they had found her I was absolutely shocked. I am glad she is back safe with her parents. Hopefully she won't be messed up for the rest of her life.
