He was one of the worst hitting pitcher in the history of
the game. But he did the following feats during his career.
He got 7 consecutive base on balls, also stole 3 bases in a inning.
Can you name this Hall of Fame pitcher?

Hoyt Wilhelm was a pretty bad hitter, so I'll guess him.

He accomplished both of these feats as a ML batter? I ask because I can only think of 4 players to receive 7 consec. walks, and the only one who pitched was Jose Canseco.

Satchel Paige - just a guess he did this in the Negro Leagues.

Not only is Wilhelm slow, he's a snail. He played in more games than anyone in history who never stole a base! Of course, to be fair, in many of those games, he never got to the plate. And when he did, he didn't get on base that often to be able to have a chance to steal. Nevertheless, with 1062 games, he's number ONE

lasted for over twenty five years.
