Chicago Feed was GREAT. Not only did we have three BP authors and great presentations, we also had Kevin Goldstein from theprospectreport.com and great discussions and very good pizza.

Better yet, we had a couple Netshriners! Thanks to everyone that came. I hope you had as much fun as I did.

Next feed is next week in Detroit. See the site for details.

Awesome!

Who from the NDF forum made it? Let's hear from ya'll!

I was one of them--I asked Will what was wrong with the Marlins' pitching staff :D.

I was another... Great turnout, Will's stuff was fantastic as was his energy level. Rany singlehandedly convinced me to sign up for the premium BP service with his presentation. Only negative was the room could have been just a little bit bigger, as it was hard to mill around and chat.

I was already leaning towards subscribing, but Rany did give me a strong, strong push in that direction. I was also excited about Will's radio show, and he sounded very excited to be able to do it.

When the only complaint I've heard is the room was too small, I think we did okay. I'm glad you guys enjoyed it and hope everyone gets the chance to see one of these Feeds.

BTW, my energy level was actually kind of down. I only had one cup of coffee all day so that I didnt overwhelm anyone. :)

I have found out first-hand that Will can work a crowd......

I think that was a compliment, right sweaver? :)

And that was a SMALL crowd. You should see me when I get 50-100 in front of me.

Well, since the guys from the Indianapolis Netshrine meeting are all here.....

I can work a room when I need to, schmooze and press the flesh. I don't have a talent for it, but I can do it.

Smed does that sort of thing for a living. He can do it, he's good at it.

Will puts us both to shame. We had extra game tickets for the Indy Indians game, Smed had gotten extras. Will said he'd take care of it. And he did. Quickly. The man can definitely work a crowd.

I don't have the talent for it, but I can recognize such talent. Will has it.

Thank you again.

I'd totally forgotten my brief outing as a scalper. That was kinda fun. We have to do that again. When you headed to Cincy, Sweevy?

Oooh I love a sweet talker.

The problem is that we don't have anyone in those areas. Why have most been on the coasts? That's where the BPers are. We're getting more midwestern (me, Nate, Rany), but its a lot of ground to cover. I'm HOPING for a feed there sometime in the summer, probably around an Aggie game.

Did I miss the Detroit one? I must have missed it on the website.

Detroit will be rescheduled. It was cancelled after we only had about 20 signed up.

I'll have to look more closely next time. I overlooked any mention of it on the website.

There's a Feed schedule up ... I forget where, but it's up. There's an Indy feed in March and a Cincy feed in late March. I'm debating a St Louis feed, if I can escape with my life.

Will-
Unfortunately, somehow the chicago feed completely evaded my notice, so unfortunately, I did not make it. However, you may want to consider doing another feed before July 20. The hall of fame is on tour here in chicago. The Field museum borrowed a large collection from the Hall of Fame. I think it'd be quite the event.

There is/was a link to the west coast feeds, but not to an overall schedule or to any of the others individually - unless I just missed it. If I did, shame on me, but also shame on y'all because it shouldn't be something to have to go looking for.

No, Skip, you found it ... it's just that the next Chicago, Cincy, and Indy Feeds aren't up yet as we work out details on those.

I'll also almost guarantee a Cleveland Feed at some point this summer and a Texas - probably Dallas, maybe Houston - in the fall.

BTW, if anyone wants to get really jealous or if you're lucky enough to be in the Pacific Northwest, take a look at the BP Feeds in Portland and Seattle.

Sure, in Indy and Chicago you get me, but those guys are getting Rob Neyer and Jim Caple. Colour me green.

Oh Lisa ... Star over Fuzzy's?

Honestly, I should do Austin, but that would require GOING to Austin. The Station would be golden, but then people would have to come to the Station and I'd probably assault someone over the travesty that is(n't) Bonfire.

You know, New Orleans for the Winter Meetinsg wouldn't be a bad drive ...

LisaG

YES, star over fuzzy's. and anyway, GOING to austin isn't the problem, driving thru the traffic TO the station is!!! and new orleans definitely would not be a bad drive. and food other than pizza would be everywhere. yessssssss.
