My house is divided on this spot. How about yours?

I guess they won't be running this one on the Oxygen network.
Cracks me up. My wife just shakes her head. My kids ask what's the big deal?
Looks good though. :)

Most people miss the looks of the women in the commerical. I think it's hi-larious because it's so over the top that it couldn't be taken seriously.
Could it?

But Bick wants to know why Miller is getting slammed for content "that's a lot tamer than some of the reality TV shows popular with consumers."
Dead, solid, perfect.

This commercial is every bit as hot as the Chick eating Nachos commercial.

I like the commercial, but my fiancee gives me grief about it....

From an ad standpoint, it's A+++
Why? Everyone is talking about it.
Exposure is what you want from an ad.

On Sunday I watched the playoff games with a group of friends. To a man (no women were present) we all loved this ad.
To the critics I say that you would have to get rid of aleast fifty percent of all TV and print ads due to treating men and women like sexual objects. This one is just honest about that the fact that it's doing it.

The comercial is hilarious! (if they weren't so obviously mocking themselves and thought it was serious, that would be bad)

My wife thinks it's a funny commercial.
I find the Coors Light football commercials with the "twins" and cheerleaders in ridiculously short skirts much worse for objectifying women.

My wife ignores these commercials and they don't play it on PBS so my kids can't watch it. Therefore, in my household this gets a big

I finally saw the ad with my girlfriend last night. When it started I got excited and asked her to watch it to see if she liked it. When it was over I got the 'you big jerk' look. So put me down for liking it and her for not.;)

I haven't seen these spots. But judging by the comments here, they have enough of a satirical element to them that they might arguably be viewed as a parody of marketing strategies that objectify women. It sounds like a clever spot, even though I doubt I'd like them.
.. but I'm not the target audience at all, anyhow.

well, of COURSE they do...that is advertising. Next time you watch a movie with some violence, check to see what the female characters are wearing when the violence starts...I know that this add is tounge-in-cheek,but it does raise an ineresting point...i mean, c'mon sex and violence sells! Watch any football game...

1) I will go out on a limb and guess that it's been a very effective commercial (that is, it has people thinking about, and quite possibly purchasing Miller Lite)
2) It's the wrong commercial to get upset over -- it's SATIRE. Get upset about the commercials it satarizes.
3) Ad people often get caught up in their own cleverness and forget the object is to sell the product. This one was almost "Simpsons" clever.
4) My wife laughed.
5) Which is worse -- this ad or promo spots for "the Bachelor/ette"?

Men don't understand why women don't want to be sex objects, because that's EXACTLY what men want.
It's just the opening salvo in my plan ... to take over the world!

I finally saw that one this weekend. Overly clever? Nah! Should I be offended? Some women would say yes.
The ad money certainly paid off for them pre-Super Bowl weekend. Bud has a monopoly on Super Bowl ads. (Hope it's nothing like their 'Bud Bowl' ad days)
But I do like the "twins" one...go figure.

We just saw this.
I had no reaction at all. My husband laughed but he laughs at silly things all the time.
The best beer ad was when the guy asked the knowlegable sportsfan (woman) if she was looking down his shirt. That was hysterical.
Sweaver had the right idea. Men wish women treated men like sex objects.........they do once you marry them;)

Anybody who wanted their fill of this commercial certainly got it during this weekend's playoff games. I think it probably has run it's course.
And a welcome to WiredTigress. Great name. :D
