When the bases were loaded with none out in the bottom of the ninth in Game 6 of the 1975 World Series, George Foster caught Fred Lynn's short fly and nailed Denny Doyle at the plate. Third base coach Don Zimmer claimed he yelled "No, no, no!" - but, Doyle claimed he heard "Go, go, go!" Doyle was an easy out at the plate.

Here's the question: When Foster caught the ball by the LF foul line stands, right where he made the grab and throw there was a sign on the wall (perhaps made and posted by a fan), which contained only the name of an infamous Center Fielder. State that name.

Skip! This was supposed to be a hard one!

How did you know it?

Because is the right answer.

No way - you have to be playing with me. Because I was just joking around, trying to be funny ... and you surely know my source.

I get the source, but I don't understand why he is "infamous," which has a pejorative connotation. IIRC, we know very little about Because, other than he played CF.

Why?

I Don't Know
