Favorite TV episodes of the year

Not just TV show but which 5 episodes were your favorites. What did we ever do without internet epsiode guides?

In no particular order
1. King of Queens - "Flash Photography" - The epsiode in which Doug drunkenly decides to photograph his "parts" on one of the disposable cameras the bride and groom provided.

2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - "Conversations with Dead People"

3. Bernie Mac Show - "Goodbye Dolly" - Ice Cube is hilarious.

4. Everybody Loves Raymond - "The Cult" - The one where Robert joins a cult and the cult ends up liking Ray better.

5. Scrubs - "My Fruit Cups" - Heather Locklear and a trunkful of pudding. What more could one ask for.

Tonight's Simpsons "Edna K For Teacher of the Year" was right up there for me.

I don't think I could name 5 distinct episodes of TV shows for the year (2002 or 2003).

The funniest single (brief) moment I recall was watching Will and Kevin Bacon do the Footloose dance on Will and Grace ... and thats only because I saw it on a rerun a few days ago, for all I know it happened years ago.

I don't think I've ever seen any of the episodes mentioned so far. Haven't even ever watched most of those shows (I've seen Raymond once or twice, Scrubs once or twice).

The highlight of every week for me is seeing what color of hair Jennifer Garner will have (and how tight and skimpy her outfit will be) on Alias .

And I enjoyed the Survivors episode where Jeff Probst stuck the tribes together on the same beach and then, a day later, made them feel stupid for assuming they were merged. The best part of Survivor any more is watching how the producers still manage to fool the dummies that sign up for the show.

I don't watch enough shows to make a worthwhile list. Here are the very few I remember as being notable:

1) Sopranos "The Strong, silent type" - Chris sitting on Cosette was such a brutal but somehow still funny moment. And the intervention may have been the funniest thing that happened on the show all season.

2) Scrubs "My Overkill" - A great season premiere enhanced by the appearance of Colin Hay doing "Overkill". For a wacky comedy, this show has some truly poignant moments.

3) Scrubs "My fruit cups" - Just listening to J.D. and Turk talk about pudding almost had me in tears laughing. Same with Dr. Cox's reaction after he realizes he's not the first (or second, third, or fourth) doctor to bag Julie.

4) The premiere episode of the recently-cancelled Robbery Homicide Division. The best cop show I've seen since HLOTS went of the air, and they stick it in the Friday 10 p.m. death slot. One of the few times they get it right, and then they shoot themselves in the foot. Great cast, and this could have been a great show.

I forgot about that one. Probably my second favorite South Park episode behind the Pokemen satire.

anything south park or whose line is it anyway? works for me... though i haven't had comedy central since the summer..

I like the British version better than the one Drew Carey does. I like them both but I thougt the British version played a little better.

Me too. But they are both funner, and funnier, than the vast majority of dreck on TV.

I had to scan the episode lists of my favorite TV shows to come up with the ones I found. What did people do before the internet? It must have been boring. :D
