You'll need mlb.com for addys and maps.yahoo.com for miles - - but, this is kinda fun................
What's your "nearest ballpark coordinates"? Use just MLB parks, thanks. Here's mine:
50 miles South of Yankee Stadium
88 miles North of Veterans Stadium
490 miles East of Jacobs Field
........and, there is no MLB park to my east..........

273 miles E of Busch.
317 miles SSE of Wrigley.

From my home it is approximately:
118 miles north to PNC Park
298 miles west to the new Great American Ballpark
264 miles east to Camden Yards
590 miles south to Turner Field
according to Yahoo Maps.
Interesting Sweaver, I never would've expected you to be nearer to Camden Yards than the GAB. I always forget how distances compress the further east (esp. northeast) one goes.

Depending on the source, we can be listed as being in the east, the south, the northeast, or the midwest. Or the mid-atlantic, although we certainly don't touch any oceans. I live slightly to the east side of the state, so it's closer to Bal'mer.
hm, you should KNOW how far it is to Fenway and to Montreal. Or hubby should, at least.

Not sure if I'm supposed to use driving distance or exact distance from my house to the ballpark, if I were able to fly there.
I'm using driving distance, since I can't figure out how I'd get the distance the other way...
Wrigley Field - 31.1 miles northeast
Comiskey Park - 24.1 miles east/northeast
Miller Park - 106 miles north
Busch Stadium - 275.1 miles south/southwest
Coors field - 982.8 miles west
Nothing due south
Safeco Field (strange, they list a PO Box) - approximately 2125 miles northwest
Cinergy Field (yahoo doesn't like the address) - approximately 308.4 miles southeast

North : nothing (some nice skiing though)

I go quite a bit. It is a very easy drive. Alligator Alley to the Turnpike and there is an exit from the turnpike that dumps you into PPS. Takes less than 1.25 hours. And with 7,500 rabid Marlins fans it does not take much time to get out;)

Since I moved in March, I now live walking distance from Fenway - 1.5 miles. I thought that might make me the closest NDF'er to a ballpark, but I see on reviewing the thread that Glyndwr is even closer to Skydome than I am to Fenway.
(One of the once-proposed new ballpark sites in Boston is directly outside my office window, but that is not likely to happen.)
Anyhow, here's mine, from home:
* < 1.5 miles W of Fenway Park
* ~200 miles NE of Yankee Stadium
* ~600 miles E of the Jake (I think Cleveland is probably the closest to due west of any park)
* ~300 miles S of Olympic Stadium

I think I might be the closest:
0.7 miles to Wrigley Field (NW)
9.7 miles to US Cellular Field (f/k/a Comiskey Park) (S)
349.1 miles to Jacobs Field (E)
Other than Wrigley, which covers both North and West from my home, the closest park to the North is Miller Park, 88.5 miles. To the west, I suppose the closest park is Coors Field, 1021.8 miles away.
Yes, I can hear the crowd noise at Wrigley Field on the rare occasions when something exciting occurs there. :)

It might not be as exact as getting driving directions from Yahoo, but I used this travel page on Baseball Reference to figure out my distances: http://www.baseball-reference.com/travel/
5 miles South of Yankee Stadium
7 miles West of Shea
85 miles NE of the Vet (not for long, though)
173 miles NE of Camden Yards
185 miles SW of Fenway
317 miles NE of PNC Park
328 miles S of Stade Olympique
344 miles SE of Skydome
403 miles SE of Jacobs Field
Of these, I've yet to visit Jacobs and PNC.

I haven't noticed it. Perhaps on a warm night with the wind blowing just right and a particularly noisy (i.e. , Yanks are in town) crowd it would be possible. A mile plus is a long way for sounds to carry, and there are always other city noises a lot closer. But I might be able to hear it from my roof deck. I'll have to remember to try next season ... :( <---- end of baseball season sad face

Being a fine Maritime Canadian, I think of distance in terms of time.* By car, I'm approximately 13 hours east of Olympic Stadium. About the same for Fenway. And about 18 hours east of SkyDome.
*Figure speeds of 65 - 70 mph.
