I thought Mo Vaughn was the "biggest Met of them all" ;)

Really, who was it that they called The Franchise?
That's the answer.

Since I am neither drunk, stoned nor certifiably insane I selected Tom Terrific.
Second choice (a very distant second choice) would be Gary Carter or Darryl Strawberry

Looks like Seaver will pitch a shutout.

If Piazza had played in New York his whole career, maybe. But as it stands, Tom terrific.

Actually, a lot of these are slam dunks - - - Ruth is the greatest Yankee, Gwynn the greatest Padre, Williams the Red Sox, Musial the Cards, Hank the Braves, Schmidt the Phillies, Wagner the Pirates, Ripken the O's, etc. That's why I chose the A's, Giants, and Reds for the other polls - - there were no clear answers there.

Ok, Steve beat me to the Mo joke and I won't make the obligatory Piazza reference ...
My vote goes to Bill Buckner.

Seaver, and it's not close.
Win Shares as a Met:
1. Seaver 266
2. Strawberry 195
3. HoJo 169
4. Koosman 163
5. Gooden 154
Actually, Edgardo Alfonzo has now reached #4 or #3 on this list, but will climb no higher, at least for now.

Whoops! :shockbig: Some how I missed Seaver on the ballot and clicked Carter. It's late...I should go to bed before I suggest electing Rey Sanchez to the Hall of Fame.:makepuke:
