Ok folks after 17 weeks of parity football we head to the parity playoffs. Here are the seedings. You make the calls.
AFC
1. Raiders (11-5)
2. Titans (11-5)
3. Steelers (10-5-1)
4. Jets (9-7)
5. Colts (10-6)
6. Browns (9-7)
NFC
1. Eagles (12-4)
2. Bucs (12-4)
3. Packers (12-4)
4. 49ers (10-5)
5. Giants (10-6)
6. Falcons (9-6-1)
I stick with Raiders-Bucs, though I think the AFC is more wide open than the NFC. The Jets are on a roll and the Titans have been below everyone's radar all season.

Hey, if I hit .500 in the Majors, I'd be an All-Star.
Glad we won't have to stomach anymore of Jeremy Shockey.

They are STILL playing the other sport? Conversations with my brother have been tolerable since those Patriot people went home.
If you want a super bowl, I recommend tupperware.:p
Opening Day is 84 days 14 hours and 4 minutes away.:(

Now, now. Some of us like the NFL for sports entertainment to pass the time until baseball arrives.
Some predictions for next week. The Niners and Steelers are open to getting clobered. Teams that play the sort of games they did this week usually are worn out. The teams with the bye are rested and fresh. I say both the Bucs and the Titans both win big. The Eagles defensive co-ordinator will not be getting much sleep this week trying to fiugure how to stop Mike Vick. He's going to change the way offense is played in the NFL. I'll ride the band wagon on the Falcons and predict an upset. Best match-up of the week has to be the Jets and Raiders. I make no prediction of outcome on this one.

I picked it. Yeah, me!!! :agree:
I still go with Tampa Bay to beat Oakland. I think that the Bucs defense is fast enough and good enough tacklers to keep the Raiders offense in check. The Raider defense looks vulnerable, espeically without Trace Armstrong in the defensive line. It's going to be a beauty of a game.

It should be quite a battle when the Raiders have the ball. One of the best offenses versus one of the best defenses. What surprised me about this weekend was how easily the Bucs moved the ball against the Eagles.

Well, I got one right at the start of the playoffs. Too bad the team I had winning it all got beat yesterday. Now I'll switch to Oakland, just to make my dad happy.

Gotta' give the Bucs credit for coming through in cold weather in a place they never win. I really didn't think they had much of a chance.
I'll cheer for the Bucs to win in the Super Bowl. If Tampa can handle that tough Oakland offensive line, they'll win the game. The Raiders won't be able to run against the Bucs, so it'll be on Gannon to win it.
