People talk about Pete Rose being reinstated as if he'll walk into a manager or GM's job right away.
IMO, I think that if Pete Rose were reinstated, the only job he might get is a spring training instructor with either the Reds, or another team who needs the publicity. I don't think he'll ever work in baseball during the regular season, no matter what.
And I'm not sure he'd even get a spring training or scouting job. He might well be blacklisted, anyway, with only an HOF plaque to show for his reinstatement (although that's hardly shabby).
