Just a few words to introduce myself. I'm a psychologist and absolute baseball fanatic. I grew up a Cardinals fan, and I even remember seeing Curt Flood in CF and Lou Brock in LF, with Bob Gibson on the mound one time. I'm on a mission to make it to games at every stadium, and so far I'm up to 12 (+ Tampa Bay, but it wasn't for a game), including 2 stadiums that no longer exist. I'm stuck now as a Royals fan, hoping against hope that they can get their act together one of these decades...

Mis-stated, I guess. I still follow the Cards, but I live in KC, so the only team I get to see on a regular basis is the sad-sack Royals. Did you happen to notice in today's list of bad RCAA performances, how many of those are current/last year's Royals?

Take heart! Great players come out of KC, they just don't keep them. Note the players on top RC that no longer play in in KC.

I have watched a team turn the ship around in a year. My Bosox went from a team that smashed my heart into a team into a team that brought me great joy last season. 11 more wins don't fall off trees.

KC has great history and played the Bosox tough early in the season, there is some magic there.
