Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!

I can tell you were raised well! What a great mom! I have a great husband too. Hope you don't mind but I moved your post to give you your own thread. (The top box in the right corner is to start a new thread.) Who do you root for? Twins? Wow!

uh, guys....she HAS "twins", but didn't say she roots for the "Twins." My guess is a Rangers fan (location matters). ;)

well, gotta tell you that the only twins i'm a fan of are my own. although i do have a soft spot for torii hunter and a loathing of carl (cheapo scumbag) pohlad. I guess i'd have to say i'm more of an astros fan (and i will say that the new stadium is awful- looks tiny and is as noisy as an airport) than a rangers fan because i'm a national leaguer at heart and detest the dh. My mom is a die hard As fan-first reggie then rickey now eric chavez.
my twins are starting to really babble now. i keep trying to get them to say "baseball" but they just smile and say dada. gotta have patience and keep trying.

max- I forgot. mom found this site on will carroll's newsletter or website. She told me about this site, figuring i'd be too busy with the twins (mine) to spend enough time here that my husband would get unhappy. Mom promised daddy (again) that she wouldn't go into baseball chat rooms any more and that she would have just one fantasy team per year. so here i am.

I'm surprised you have any time at all for baseball! Welcome to the site.

well, as my daddy sez, you make time for what is important to you. and a little baseball beats anything on tv.

Lisa you sound like a gal after my own heart. Enjoy the twins. I am a mom of a 14 year old. Listen in dirrect porption to the amount of ears to mouth.;) Your kids will teach you more than you think.

Sounds funny but I miss having my kid not needing me for everything. This last year has taught me that I am needed more than I thought, just in different ways. I love parenting but I miss playing on the floor ...........:( .

Welcome!

My son started watching some games with me last year when he was about 8 months old.

This season, there were time he would start clapping when he heard the roar of the crowd. Hopefully next season you'll have a couple of Astro/Ranger fans in the making...

This coming season, you betcha the kids will be watching the afternoon games with me, (cuz they AINT staying up till midnight) and little ones do love to clap- both of mine are trying. I figure if I can teach my dogs, TeddyB, Babe and BarryLamar to bark when I say "homerun" and sit up and beg when I say "slider", getting the kids to clap won't be so tough. Now, if I could just find that great kids book "the little eckstein that could"...
