Just curious. And why is something that bills itself as the "family" channel running ads for blood and guts horror movies that it will be showing?

I had to run through our entire channel listing for Dish TV, but we do get it at home........not that I'm likely to watch it again until next October (depending on who's in the playoffs).

Yes, though until the playoffs I didn't know that's what it was called.

I was just wondering how many people were left out in the cold on these playoff games. Is it carried on cable TV or just the dish? It just seems pathetic for MLB playoffs to be carried on something called the ABC Family Channel.

:( oh well. I'm the fan of a niche sport.

It's part of our basic cable package.

... owned by Diamond mine magnate/America deserves the WTC horror Pat Robertson, who then sold them to FOX who introduced that high quality programming they are justly famous for,who then sold it to Disney who kept up the High level founded by its predecessors.

It took me awhile to figure out where it was but I finally found it. Very odd channel choice, I am sure if ABC had originally negotiated the contract then it would have been on ESPN.

Why FOX contracted to have it on the Family Channel instead of Fox Sports Net is beyond me.

Here's something that bugs me - despite having digital cable and the whole extra package, I DO NOT get F/X, which prevented me from watching game 3 of the NLDS between the Giants and Braves.

I don't have cable. All playoff games should be on network TV.

I've been getting cable for free since I've been living in my house. Which is 10 years.
I have RobertsonFoxABCFamily and I too am confused by the programming. Blood and gore for the whole family.
As I've said before the world is run by 2 corporations.
The THRILL of competition.

I have abc family. What I love is that they show shows that are not family with no warning, yet play Whose Line is it Anyway? late at night with a parental warning. Weird.

My rabbit ears don't pull in the ABC Family Channel.

I find it funny that Pat Robertson is owned by Disney now...

And with the dish its easy to find, and easy to ignore....

I have the ABC family channel, although I didn't know it before last week. I think they are putting the NLCS game one on fox tomorrow but ALDS game 2 is on Fox Sports New York? Is that true? I don't have that channel. :(

Fox Sports World is the channel that plays Rugby, Cricket, and Futbol all the time here in Cleveland. I'd be shocked if they had the ALCS on that channel.
