Not to blow our own horn or anything...and believe me, I am not one to praise my place of employment, but...
I bought seven papers today and looked at others online...I believe our front page was the best today.
there's a thumbnail with a link to the front here:

That really is nice, VNV. It's a beautiful picture.
I've been wearing out on the one-year-later stuff - the attacks themselves are still very much real and present to me (though my new office is very near to the airport, so I'd better damn well get used to low-flying planes) - but I am finding myself drawn to some of the coverage anyhow, and I really liked your paper's picture.

Great concept, and nicely understated. We certainly didn't need to see the plane hitting the building again, and this is a nice reminder of our loss without being crass.
It still seems unbelievable to me that it happened.

Craig, I agree, I cannot believe it's been a year. I suspect that, for the rest of my life, it will still seem like yesterday.
Here's a link that displays some of the front pages of the top papers in the country, from today and special extra editions released a year ago.

I think Hartford Courant was just unbelievable...an aerial shot that looks like the Twin Towers in heaven.

I was scanning papers in the store today like everyone else and was struck by this front page:

I don't know about you, but I'm reassured when I see that some things will never change. And at least we know where Johnny went to work after the movie "Airplane!"
