I'm looking for minor league stats, both records from a specific league and over all career records. Any ideas from anyone on a good site or book to look in?

It's really hard to find a good database of minor league stats. There's the STATS Inc. Minor League Handbook, which has the AA and AAA for each year, and a lot of websites with a particular team (just do a web search).

For more historical stuff, you probably need to go to SABR Publications. I can't think of anything else that would have a comprehensive list.

For current players historical minor league stats, I refcommend Baseball America's SUPER REGISTER.

The Baseball Archive, at baseball1.com, has stats from 1995-98, and a downloadable reference that includes minor league stats.

Dennis snelling's " the Pacific Coast LEague: a statistical hisotry" is crammed with useful stats. there is a similar book on the AA but I dont have it right in front of me.

SABR's " Minor legue Baseball stars" vol. 1, 2 and 3 are all very good too.
