Five congratulations

Orioles CF/SS Melvin Mora flew back to Baltimore during the Orioles/Angels series because it had finally happened... his wife gave birth to quints - 3 girls and 2 boys yesterday. It is reported that Melvin will join the Orioles with their return to Baltimore. I hope everything goes smoothly for the 5 newborns, their mother, and Melvin! :) (oh, and I hope they get all the sleep they can before the babies come home! :sleeping: )

I can just see the Moras as they grow old. Melvin telling people that he survived 7 1/2 years in the minors - and, his wife following up with "You think that was tough? Have 5 kids at once!" :D

Well, they're officially born now... so that should take a load off Melvin's mind. Of course he'll probably still worry about how they're doing!

Either that, or he'll run to the Ballpark ASAP every day. Five screaming babies? I think I would look for a place to hide. ;)
