I've actually never even tried one, but I've often brought Cuban cigars back from Canada for my friends.

good calls. im a big partagas serie D no. 4 fan. not surprising since i prefer robustos and the like anyway. since those arent falling in my lap, i often smoke avos or the fuente don carlos series is good, but only if you can get them at a reasonable price (which i can), since they're often jacked way up. i'll also always try to buy something cheap that a shop owner recommends, because it's always nice to find something cheap that smokes great. then again, i dont smoke daily or anything like that, so price is not necessarily of the essence

Partagas. I like them so much, I don't try much else. Upmann is another good one. Macanudos are a little mild, but good. I probably smoke less than one a month, due to my fear of premature death.

You don't want them when Monica's mad at you. They taste like s**t.

I have a number of favorite cigars. Of the legal cigars I am partial to OpusX (love the Perfecxion X), Ashton VSG (the Sorceror is just wonderful), and Camacho Corojos (particularly the Diploma).

On the Cuban side there are too many to mention. The Ramon Allones Gigante is wonderful. The Monte #2, The Bolivar BBF, the Punch Double Corona and the Punch Punch, Partagas Shorts, Ramon Allones Special Selection, Cohiba Robusto, etc.

When looking for a very mild domestic smoke it is hard to beat Avo. Very pricey for such a mild cigar. I use to smoke the hell out of HdM #1's, but they haven't been any good since General bought out Villazon.

BTW, Macanudos are not cigars they are pacifiers.

I'm going to issue a warning on any more Monica comments. That's so 90's of us....can't we just move along?

I had no idea there'd be so many cigar afficionados on the board. I think I only two people who ever smoke cigars, and thats only if they're pretty drunk.

A cigar in one hand and a beer (or a glass of Glenlivet) in the other with a baseball game on...life doesn't get much better.
