Hey all,
spitball here.
My real 1st name is Gary.
My team is the Anaheim Angels
I found this forum from reading a Gammons column in which he mentioned Baseball Immortals. I clicked on discussion forum and here I am.
I am a musician/songwriter/arranger. You may have seen me on the last Rocky Horror Picture Show anniversary special on VH1.
I was the band leader/bass player/guitar player. Sort of like Paul Shaffer with hair.
I have a day gig at an L.A. alternative weekly paper.
I'm the father of 2 and have an amazing wife.
I play softball and basketball . The knee's about shot but I keep on pluggin on.
Comments????
Oh Yeah!!!
This forum is so cool because it seems that all the posters love the game and there's no, "Your team sucks!" posts.
O.K. I'm done....discuss.

Your team sucks! :flush:

Ooops! I mean, MY team sucks! :(

The Angels have performed miracles on offense, doing almost everything right and with few homers.

LOL....I'm stunned and amazed myownself.
Sometimes I have a hard time with Mickey Hatcher as a hitting coach but he's got these guys believing that going the other way is good, m-kay.
Cleveland's ridden their wave as far as possible now it's time to reload.

The dude from Will and Grace was the coolest of the lot though Will Langham is kind of a bud of mine from when our boys were born.
My wife was one of the B.G. singers and she was 7 months pregnant. What a trooper.

I empathize with your knee problems. I had to give up soccer and basketball because my knees were so bad.

I forgot to mention that I took a line shot off the worst knee last Saturday. You can see the seems of the ball underneath the blue and purple.
Get me a walker.

Now that is cruel. Funny. But cruel.
I actually played a gig at Johnson City a few years ago.( that's where ankiel was sent down to) .Cool park.
I hung out with the groundskeeper before and after we played.
He was a nice guy. Let me roam all over.
