D'Rays-Yanks on Saturday

Is anyone going to this game? I'm coming up to NY and am thinking I should go watch my first ever game at the Stadium (Camden can wait). Anyone care to join me?
Also, any tips (on when to arrive, getting tkts, where to sit, etc) would be greatly appreciated....

and I'm the wron person to be asking about where to sit, my preferences are The Bleachers ($8.00 and the best view in the hous) or the high up seats.

It's becoming a class strugle in Yankee Stadium and unless you're uptight you might not enjoy the primo seats even if you can get your hands on them, which you probably can't.

I'd try ticketmaster now. If not the ticket booth outside the stadium on game day or the scalpers.
Just be careful with the scalpers. You can get them at face or below if you wait until the last moment but look hard at the tickets.

Remember, NO BAGS, they won't let you bring it in and they won;t check it for you.

If my plans for Saturday are canceled (and if I have anythign to do with it they will be) I'll PM you with my phone number.

I have always wanted to go to Yankee Staduim. I hope you have the best time. I have asked Net countless times if he wanted to put together a game with the posters from the board. He said there would not be enough interest in it. If later in the season you go again, let me know. With a little notice I could be game.


Chris- nothing wrong with bleachers. There are many reasons why some people do not like them. I would love to have a chance for $8 seats (vs $39). I just have sun exposeure problems and have a hard time with super elevated seating. Everyone has their preferance. Me, I don't care as long as my seat is facing the same way as the field (buyer beware of Right field seating in Fenway.) and I have an awning over my head. :D

try to get out in the right field stands with the bleacher creatures. can be lots of fun (although a bit overdone now i think)

The parking sucks. Spend a few bucks and get a lower-level seat. Mine were in the upper deck, six rows from the back, and the view looked like a blimp shot.
