FYI -

Robin Ventura is out.
Robbie Alomar and Jason Giambi have new hats.
Mike Sweeney, Albert Pujols, Miguel Tejada, and Jim Thome have been added.
McGwire, Ripken, and Gwynn have been moved to the retired (200 posts) group.

Rickey Henderson will be updated once I find a good shot of him in a Red Sox cap.

I would consider a request - post them here, if you have them.

The goal is to have as many teams presented as possible and not have too many of one type of player.

I think you'll need 2000 posts for Donnie. Bags? Possible. Hard to have him and Biggio both on the charts for now.

ooooh.... Jackie Robinson.... is he one of the new ones, or did I just not notice him before?

It would be hard to give up the ol' namesake though. I'm not sure I'm ready to switch....

No Daimon Easley Icon? Maybe you can make it a punishment. Anyone who misbehaves has to use the Daimon Easley icon. Kind of like an albatross.

I am not blaming you. Nor am I disappointed. The Tigers are in bad shape. The only guy you possibly could do would be Carlos Pena.

There aren't any current Tiger avatars, but at least there is some guy named Ty.

But, we all associate him with those final years with the Philadelphia Athletics. So, it's back to the drawing board.

I dunno - - why would Stachel want anything but Satchel?

Good prompt for a note - - all those here that have custom avatars - - if you switch, remember the URL of your custom, in case you want to switch back - - -it's up to you, I don't have a list.

If you lose it, it's gone - - and, the custom deal is a one time deal - - I won't do another one for you. Thanks.

Satch - I know yours is not a custom one - the above means nothing to you.

The name and icon work so well together that I think you shouldn't switch. Maybe when you get your custom icon you can do a different Satchel picture.

I would also suggest sticking with the Satchel avatar.

Personally, I like the looks of that Jabba avatar if I make to a thousand posts......

I have some other ideas for my custom though ... it will still be a while, however. But I agree, I like the name/picture combo so the switch won't be easy.

Hopefully somebody else will use Jackie Robinson so I can at least see him around regularly. ;)

I think I saw someone who had switched to Jackie and I even thought of doing it myself. I'll have to think hard about a customer avatar for when the time comes.

ooh - such a strict disciplinarian. I like that.

I'm sorry - the veer was entirely my fault; it did have to do with the new Jackie Robinson avatar and whether anyone was going to use it. I'll stop now.
