When was the first time that 27 straight batters on a team were retired in a World Series?

It happened in games 2 & 3 of the 1926 WS. In game 2, Pete Alexander retired the last 21 Yankees, and in game 3, Jesse Haines retired the first 6 Yanks - 27 in a row!
