Who is the only pitcher who threw one perfect game to take another perfect game into the 9th inning with 2 outs?

In recent years, only Coney and Boomer can I think of. The only one to bring it to 2 outs in the 9th would be Moose but he never had a Perfecto.
I'll lastly guess Jim Bunning, since his name came up in another post. :o

No, none of those 3 did either. That narrows down the possible guesses quite a bit.

I'll go off the board for Monte Ward.

Not Witt, Ward, or Barker. I apologize, the question as I have isn't exactly right. This pitcher took another perfect game into the 9th inning but lost it with no outs in the 9th. He had pitched a perfect game the year before. He's one of only 2 major league pitchers to take 2 perfect games into the 9th inning - Mussina's the other one.

Who else is left? Kenny Rogers?

It's not Rogers, so I think that only leaves 4 or 5 pitchers.

Tom Browning it is. On July 4, 1989 he took a perfect game into the 9th inning and then gave up a double to Dickie Thon with no outs.

I must've missed the answer, having asked if it were Bill Dickey.
Seeing Larsen, Boomer, Coney all had Perfectos and Moose just missed one when Kerrigan put Crazy Carl as the PH, I figured there was a pattern there.....................
