Despite playing in 15 seasons Carty actually had a rather short career. He missed his age 28 and 31 seasons. He had less than 100 combined AB's in his age 23 and age 34 seasons. He only qualified for the batting title in six seasons. On the plus side he could hit. His OPS+ of 132 is excellent. His Warp3 is only 60, but that is a function of lack of overall playing time and being a DH for a few years.
