After a cup of coffee in 1958 Cuellar came up for good in 1964 at age 27 and was part of the 1964 championship Cardinals. He did win a deserved CYA in 1968 (co-winner with McLain). His similarity score with teammate Dave McNally is 964. Like McNally Cuellar benefitted enormously from playing on the Orioles of the late 60's and early 70's. That team had three world class defenders in Robinson, Belanger, and Blair.

A good pitcher with very good counting numbers but really lacks the quality we want.
