Many of you know that I make my living as a professional musician. Part of that includes being a professional songwriter. Over the course of the past 22 years I have written literally hundreds of songs. Some of my music has be featured on PBS.
One of the artist that I worked with over the years is a lady named Stacey Knights. Stacey is quite the performer but is a novice at writing music. When she decided to do a solo album she needed material and ask me if I would oblige. The project ended up featuring 6 songs that I either wrote or co-wrote. The CD has had very good response from the local music community. Several cuts have been played on a local station WDRR 98.5. The big news is Stacey just signed on with a company that is going to introduce her CD to 67 new markets. Two cuts from the CD will be featured. One is a song you all know, "Lady in Red" . Stacey plays a beautiful rendition of this on Soprano Sax. The other song is a song I wrote called "Busted". This song features a smoking hard driving tenor sax solo. This song has a lot of bite.
This is one of many steps that could lead to the recognition of a major label. This just happens to be a huge step. I encourage you to check out Stacey yourself. Her website is .
