Hard for me to justify voting yes for him or any other Negro League player especially when I voted no on some white ballplayers of that time who I expected to vote yes on until I seen there stats up close. No reliable stats for Buck, Pop Lloyd and the others but I have heard and read so much about them in my lifetime that I believe they would have faired well if given the chance. Judging by how Robinson, Irvin, Doby, Paige and others did in the major leagues I'm voting yes.

Such a hard question for me to answer. While we all know the Negro League stats can't be taken as gospel and were padded, Leonard HAD to be about as talented as Irvin and Robinson, just based on eyewitness accounts and reports of the day. TSN voted him the 47th greatest baseball player of all-time in 1999. While their rankings are definitely questionable (Ted Williams 8th?), the fact that he was ranked as highly as he was means, to me, he must have been damn good.
I vote yes, after careful consideration
