Maybe I only remember the two 30+ seasons. I voted Yes. He was a huge figure/personality for me growing up around Boston. Second only to Orr. Homer vote? Maybe, but I remember him as a dominant pitcher, the one I wanted to see pitch. No hesitation.

Here's a video of Tiant pitching in the 1974 All Star game. It's neat to see/hear all the names in the game, Frank Robinson, Lou Brock, George Hendrick, Johnny Bench, Thurman Munson, Jim Hunter, Rollie Fingers, Yazstremski (did I just butcher that?), Cesar Cedeno (I don't think I've ever seen that version of the Astros jersey before).
Funny to hear them compare Cesar Cedeno to Reggie Jackson at the end of the clip.

I think his WARP3 score of 98+ more accurately reflects his production.

Lee votes no because of the 172 RSAA

Very strange career. It's almost like he had two careers. Great, went away for a while, great again. It's like his numbers suffered from WW2 or something.
