623 career RCAA, good enough for 37th all-time (after Manny and Thome had spectacular seasons)
his 634 RCAA from 1974-1987 were far and way the best over that stretch, 125 more than the closest runner-up (George Brett)
career OPS of .904, .187 over the league average
his OPS over the league average is good enough for 36th all time among players with at least 1000 PA

IMO, best thirdbaseman of all time, and it's not particularly close. James, as I recall, ranks Schmidt, Brett, Mathews, Boggs and Baker in the top 5 - what a dropoff after that.
Anybody read his book?

Best 3B of all time. About the only thing he couldn't do was hit for average.
