I am going to say yes, but I am not overly happy about it. You would think that a guy who won 2 MVP's, 4 Silver Sluggers, and 5 Gold Gloves would be a shoo-in. Sadly for Murphy his skills abruptly left him after his age 31 season, but he continued to play for another 6 seasons which really drove down his value.

Pre-1988 numbers: 252 RCAA, OPS of .862
1988-1993: -54 RCAA, OPS of .702
ouch
still, I have to vote yes

The guy was a monster before he just got old real quick, not to mention he was probably just worn out playing on some awful Braves teams. Ironic how they got real good after he was gone. Anyways, great fielder, a decent baserunner, and a monster stick when he was in his prime. I vote yes.

Stats were inflated by The Launching Pad, but park-adjusted OPS was 21% better than average, and he was in the league's top top 4 four times. Plus, a good glove. I said yeah.
