Highly touted NCAA pitcher. Blew out his elbow in '98. Missed all of '99. Pitched very good in AA last year. Throws 90+ and has a big-league yakker. Could be a sleeper?

Then again, Maddux and Glavine had ERAs of five their first few years..............

Baseball America ranks Biddle as the Whitesox's #13 prospect. There's a pretty interesting line about him in their Prospect Handbook--"He credited the time 'shadow-boxing' for improving his mechanics."

I'm assuming that, if they didn't mess up on grammar, they meant that he credited the time he spent shadow-boxing.
