This has been bugging me for a while.

This is the Sporting News 1975 Baseball Record Book. Does anyone else see something seriously wrong with this picture?

That Brock stole 118 in 1974?
But, isn't that the way they do these books? They come out early in the year for the year that they're dated - so, they have stuff from the year before on the cover.

Or, is it because, when you look at the photo real fast, it appears that Brock has one leg?

How could they not put Aaron on the cover?

Then, they compound that error by not even including him in any of the photos on the back or inside covers.

I remembered that from when I was a kid. They always seemed to have the hometown bias.
