Who are the only 2 players who have hit 2 or more home runs in one game on their birthday twice?

For some reason, Chipper Jones comes to mind.

No, good guess, he has had some big games on his birthday, but 2001 was the only year he hit 2 homers.

Carlos May wore his birthday on his back - "May 17" (I believe). So, could you say that everyday he homered, his birthday was in play? :stinker:

From what I remember Andy Messersmith's number was also 17. His nickname was Channel. When the Braves signed him Turner tried to get his nickname on his jersey rather than his last name. WTBS in Atlanta at the time was Channel 17.

Actually, I think Ted paid him to do that - - it wasn't his nickname.

To narrow it down, both these guys played for the Dodgers, both went by a 4 letter first name and both had a 6 letter last name.
